A Palestinian was martyred and his son was wounded near Silwad town, east of Ramallah.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health said that the 45-year-old Ahmad Hussein Kahla and his son were shot by Israeli occupation forces at the western entrance to the town of Silwad. The father was shot directly in the neck and succumbed to his wounds in the hospital.
According to Palestinian news agency (WAFA), the occupation soldiers fired at the martyr after an argument. The soldiers took him out from his vehicle by force, then shot him at close range.
With the killing of Kahla, the death toll has risen to 13 since the beginning of 2023, including three children.
The Israeli occupation forces continue their violations against the Palestinian people on daily basis. The forces launch campaigns against Palestinian towns and cities, lands and properties, using bullets and tear gas, which often leads to the death and injury of dozens of Palestinians.
