As part of its efforts to make expatriates aware of the safety rules and regulations of the country, the General Directorate of Civil Defence has held a briefing session for representatives of companies at the Officers’ Club. Civil Defence assistant director Brigadier Aman Saad al-Sulaiti inaugurated the event. He said the programme is aimed at introducing the safety rules and regulations of the Civil Defence to prominent companies in Qatar and help them improve safety procedures.
Civil Defence preventive education and information officer Lt Abdul Hadi Ali al-Marri presented a short film on safety measures in workplaces. He explained about the different types of fires, causes and extinguishing methods.
