Meteorology warns of poor visibility in some inshore areas

Weather inshore until 6:00 pm on Wednesday will be misty to foggy at places at first, becoming relatively hot during the day and mild to relatively humid by night, the Department of Meteorology said in its daily weather report. The department warned of expected poor horizontal visibility in some areas at first. Offshore, the weather will be hazy in some areas, the report added. Wind inshore will be variable at less than 4 knots at first, becoming mainly northwesterly to northeasterly at 4 to 14 knots later. Offshore, wind will also be variable, mainly northwesterly to northeasterly at 3 to 11 knots. Sea state inshore will range between 1 and 2 feet, and between 1 and 3 feet offshore. Visibility inshore will be 5–10 km / 2 km or less in some areas at first. Offshore, it will be 4–10 km.
