A new medical clinic serving more than 3,200 workers has been inaugurated at the General Cleanliness Department Complex in the Industrial Area, bringing primary care, medical screening and on-site medicine dispensing directly into the workplace.The Ministry of Municipality facility was opened by Assistant Undersecretary for Public Services Affairs Eng Abdullah Ahmed al-Karani, in the presence of Assistant Undersecretary for Migrant Labour Affairs at the Ministry of Labour Hamad Faraj Dalmouk, Director of the General Cleanliness Department Muqbil Madhour al-Shammari, and other ministry officials.Al-Shammari said the clinic underscores the department's commitment to providing a safe and healthy environment built on the highest standards.It operates in two daily shifts, from 9am to 1pm and 6pm to 10pm, to give all workers flexible access to care.The opening forms part of wider efforts to strengthen the health system and occupational safety by delivering rapid, integrated medical services within the work environment, he added, helping improve workers' quality of life and the sustainability of the department's services.
