The Land Customs Department foiled an attempt to smuggle tobacco products to evade customs duties and excise taxes. The customs officer in charge suspected a truck entering the country. Upon a thorough search of the truck, the tobacco was found hidden in various cavities. Accordingly, 15,000 cigarettes were found.
