Waldorf Astoria Doha West Bay has been named "Qatar’s Leading Business Hotel” at the 33rd annual World Travel Awards, presented during the awards ceremony held in Dubai on September 13.The recognition highlights the hotel’s position as a destination for business travellers, corporate events and meetings in Doha, combining refined hospitality with a central location in the heart of West Bay.Representing Waldorf Astoria Doha West Bay at the ceremony were general manager Elias J Moukarzel and sales director Aleksandra Stojanovic, who accepted the award on behalf of the hotel.“This recognition is a reflection of the dedication of our team and the trust of our guests and partners,” Moukarzel said. “We are proud to be recognised as 'Qatar’s Leading Business Hotel’ and will continue to focus on delivering thoughtful service and memorable experiences to our guests.”The World Travel Awards, established in 1993, recognises excellence across the global travel and tourism industry, with winners selected through an international voting process involving travel professionals and consumers.The award marks another milestone for Waldorf Astoria Doha West Bay as the hotel continues to strengthen its presence in Doha’s hospitality landscape.Located in Doha’s Diplomatic Area, Waldorf Astoria Doha West Bay offers 283 Art Deco-inspired rooms and suites, alongside 50 luxury apartments.The property also features dedicated meeting and event spaces, including two ballrooms, as well as a range of dining and wellness experiences designed to cater to both business and leisure guests. 

Waldorf Astoria Doha Lusail has welcomed the internationally renowned celebrity chef Daniel Green until September 10.Specialising in healthy cuisine, chef Green is an award-winning author of 13 cookbooks on nutritious eating, selling millions worldwide, a statement said.He has designed menus for global airlines, luxury hotels, and acclaimed restaurants, and is a familiar face on leading networks including BBC, Food Network, and NBC.During his residency, chef Green will unveil the brand-new healthy menu at Wyld Erth on September 4, bringing his signature approach of guilt-free yet flavourful dining. Guests can also enjoy his specially curated dishes at Bywater and PRAIA throughout the week.From September 5-9, chef Green will host interactive cooking classes, sharing his expertise and passion for healthy living with participants in an engaging, hands-on experience.This collaboration marks a new chapter in Waldorf Astoria Doha Lusail’s commitment to culinary innovation, wellbeing, and exceptional guest experiences, the statement added.
