Qatar Chamber has concluded its international training programme ‘Professional in Corporate Social Responsibility’, organised in collaboration with the Regional Network for Consulting, a member of the Regional Network for Social Responsibility.The programme, held virtually, witnessed the participation of trainees representing various government and private entities in Qatar, as well as participants from Arab institutions and organisations.The session was delivered by Dr Ali al-Ibrahim, a professor and expert in corporate social responsibility. The session focused on developing participants’ skills and enhancing their knowledge in managing and implementing corporate social responsibility initiatives through professional methodologies.Fatima Issa al-Kuwari, head of Training and Development at Qatar Chamber, emphasised the chamber’s commitment to providing high-quality training programmes that contribute to preparing and qualifying specialised professionals in emerging fields, including corporate social responsibility.Al-Kuwari said, “Corporate social responsibility has become an increasingly important professional field, with many institutions establishing dedicated administrative units within their organisational structures to oversee this area. This requires qualified and specialized professionals capable of effectively managing corporate social responsibility programs and initiatives.”The programme is part of Qatar Chamber’s efforts to develop human capital and raise awareness of the importance of corporate social responsibility as a key pillar in achieving sustainable development and enhancing the role of institutions in serving the community.
