The embassy of Pakistan in Doha organised a talk on Seerat-un-Nabi to commemorate the blessed life and teachings of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh).The keynote address was delivered by Dr Zakaryya Mohamed Abdel-Hady, associate professor of Islamic Thought and Culture at Qatar University’s College of Sharia and Islamic Studies.The event was chaired by Pakistan’s ambassador to Qatar Muhammad Aamer, who also addressed the gathering.The talk was attended by a large number of members of the Pakistani diaspora, students, prominent academicians, ambassadors and representatives of the diplomatic corps in Qatar.Dr Abdel-Hady highlighted the importance of following the principles of mercy, as taught by the Prophet.Aamer emphasised the role of such gatherings in strengthening spiritual bonds within the community and promoting interfaith harmony.The event concluded with prayers for the progress and prosperity of Pakistan and the Muslim Ummah.
