Mannai Corporation QPSC announced the appointment of technology industry veteran Sumanta Roy as Group President for Information and Communication Technology (ICT). Roy will lead the Group’s ICT business across the Middle East, and Africa, strengthening its technology capabilities and advancing its regional expansion, with Saudi Arabia among its priority markets.Saudi Arabia stands as a strategic priority for Mannai with the Group deepening its operations in the Kingdom through Mannai Information Technology Saudi Arabia. In his new role, Roy will steer the next phase of growth from the company's base in Riyadh, drawing on Mannai's regional capabilities and global partnerships to build on its technology presence in the Kingdom and support the Group's broader expansion across Middle East and Africa. This will include deepening relationships with customers and technology partners, while widening the portfolio across high-growth areas such as AI, cybersecurity, cloud, digital transformation, intelligent infrastructure and managed services.Alekh Grewal, Group CEO, Mannai Corporation QPSC, said: “Sumanta joins Mannai at an important point in the evolution of our technology business. He brings more than three decades of industry experience, an exceptional understanding of the Middle East and Africa, and a proven ability to build businesses, deepen customer relationships and lead growth across complex and rapidly evolving markets.”Roy said: “My focus will be on bringing together the strength of our people, capabilities and global technology partnerships to create greater value for our customers, while accelerating our growth in strategic markets, particularly Saudi Arabia, and expanding Mannai’s technology footprint across Middle East and Africa.”Roy brings more than thirty years of leadership experience in IT services, business transformation and regional growth. 

Mannai Corporation reported strong results in H1 2026 with a 44% net profit growth to QR101mn.Revenue for the period stood at QR2.7bn, representing a 29% year-on-year increase from QR2.1bn. Gross profit rose by 19% to QR422mn, up from QR354mn in H1 2025. EBITDA for the period increased by 17% to QR226mn, while EBIT stood at QR172mn.Profit before tax reached QR114mn, reflecting a 51% increase over last year. Strong performances from the ICT Group and the Automotive Division were key contributors to the group’s H1 2026 results. The ICT Group continued to generate growth through a strengthening order book and solid business execution, while the Automotive Division benefited from the successful expansion of the BYD franchise, which contributed significantly to volume growth and revenue generation during the period. These achievements, together with lower financing costs, supported the group’s strong earnings growth and reinforce confidence in its outlook.

Mannai Corporation QPSC (Qatari public shareholding company) announced on Sunday the official inauguration of the Saudi Arabia headquarters of Mannai Information Technology in Riyadh, marking a significant milestone in the Group's long-term strategic expansion and commitment to the Kingdom's rapidly advancing digital economy. The Corporation said in a statement published on Qatar Stock Exchange's website on Sunday, that this milestone reflects Mannai's continued evolution as a trusted technology partner in the region and strengthens its position as a key enabler of digital transformation across enterprise and government sectors. Group Chief Executive Officer of Mannai Corporation, Alekh Grewal, emphasised that the establishment of the Saudi Arabia Headquarters represents a defining step in Mannai's regional growth strategy, reflecting its long-term commitment to supporting the Kingdom's ambitious digital transformation agenda and Vision 2030 objectives. In turn, vice-chairman of the Executive Committee of Mannai Corporation, Khalid al- Mannai, pointed out that Saudi Arabia remains a strategically important market for the Group, noting that Mannai's expansion is anchored in decades of trust, execution capability, and a consistent focus on delivering value-driven technology solutions across complex enterprise environments. The new Saudi Arabia Headquarters is expected to further enhance Mannai Information Technology's ability to deliver end-to-end solutions, including enterprise infrastructure, digital transformation programs, cybersecurity services, and managed IT operations. It also reinforces the company's commitment to building strong local partnerships and contributing to the Kingdom's knowledge-based economy.

In a celebration reflecting Qatar’s vision of embedding sporting values into the nation’s culture and inspiring the community to embrace active lifestyles, Mannai Corporation and its subsidiaries celebrated Qatar National Sport Day (NSD) Tuesday at the Retaj Resort. The annual event, a vibrant day of sporting activities, teamwork, and camaraderie, brought together more than 1,300 employees who participated in a wide range of team sports and challenges, including football, volleyball, relay races, tug-of-war, and kabaddi – creating an atmosphere of energy and togetherness. In the lead-up to the main event, Mannai organised internal tournaments across different locations, including football, cricket, badminton, chess, basketball, volleyball, bowling, billiards, and table tennis. Mannai Corporation senior general manager (human resources and administration) Emad Zaid al-Kilani emphasised the importance of the occasion. “National Sport Day is a reminder that health, fitness, and teamwork are at the heart of our nation’s progress,” he said. “Seeing our colleagues step outside the office and into the spirit of sport shows ‘The Mannai Way’ in teamwork and demonstrates the fitness of our employees.” Group chief executive Alekh Grewal highlighted Mannai’s long-term commitment to wellness. “Qatar offers world-class sporting facilities and a culture where sport is deeply ingrained,” he said. “At Mannai, we are proud to align with this vision by fostering a workplace culture that values teamwork, resilience, and well-being. “National Sport Day is a celebration of these values, and we will continue to champion them across our organisation,” Grewal added. The day also featured a ceremony honouring employees who have dedicated 15 and 25 years of service to Mannai. Awards were presented by Grewal, Group chief financial officer Santhosh Krishnamoorthy, and al-Kilani.
