His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani met on Monday evening at Lusail Palace with President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, who offered condolences on the passing of HH the Father Amir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani.Also present were HH the Deputy Amir Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al-Thani, HH Personal Representative of the Amir Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al-Thani, HE Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Khalifa Al-Thani, HH Sheikh Abdullah bin Khalifa Al-Thani, HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al-Thani, HE Sheikh Jassim bin Khalifa Al-Thani, and HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani, alongside a number of Their Excellencies, sons of the late HH the Father Amir, and Their Excellencies the Sheikhs. 

HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani met at the Amiri Diwan on Tuesday with the Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan Arman Issagaliyev and the Ambassador of the Russian Federation Dmitry Nikolayevich Dogadkin, who called on HH the Amir to greet him on the occasion of the end of their tenure in the country.HH the Amir awarded the Al Wajbah Decoration to the Ambassadors in appreciation of their role in strengthening the cooperation between the State of Qatar and their friendly countries. HH the Amir wished them success in their future duties and the relations between the State of Qatar and each of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Russian Federation continued progress and prosperity.For their part, the Ambassadors expressed their gratitude and appreciation to HH the Amir and the State officials for the cooperation accorded to them, which contributed to the success of their duties in the country. 

His Excellency Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Sultan bin Saad Al Muraikhi met with the Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the State of Qatar, Arman Issagaliyev, on the occasion of the end of his tenure. HE the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs extended thanks to the Ambassador for his efforts in supporting and strengthening bilateral relations, wishing him success in his new duties.

His Excellency Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim al-Thani met Sunday with Kazakhstan Minister of Foreign Affairs Yermek Kosherbayev, who is visiting the country.They discussed co-operation between the two countries and ways to support and develop it. They also discussed the developments in the region, particularly those related to the ceasefire between the US and Iran, in addition to efforts aimed at reducing escalation in a way that contributes to enhancing security and stability in the region.The prime minister stressed the need for all parties to respond to the ongoing mediation efforts, which would pave the way for addressing the root causes of the crisis through peaceful means and dialogue, and lead to a sustainable agreement that prevents renewed escalation.  

His Excellency Special Envoy of the Minister of Foreign Affairs Ambassador Faisal bin Abdullah Al Hanzab met with Special Representative of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Afghanistan Yerkin Tokumov, during his visit to the country.The meeting discussed a number of topics of common interest, particularly the political, security, and humanitarian situations in Afghanistan.
