Hundreds of Colonists storm Al-Aqsa Mosque

Hundreds of colonists stormed the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque on Tuesday, heavily guarded by the Israeli occupation forces (IOF), during their celebrations of the Hebrew year. Palestinian news agency (WAFA) reported that the colonists' raid was accompanied by provocative practices, including the performance of Talmudic and Torah rituals, in addition to group clapping and dancing inside the mosque. For its part, the Palestinian Ministry of Awqaf said that the former Knesset member Rabbi Yehuda Glick stormed Al-Aqsa wearing Torah religious clothing, guarded by the Israeli occupation police, who imposed strict restrictions on the Palestinians' entry to the mosque, as they checked their IDs, and detained some at the gates. These incursions are part of the occupation's efforts to obliterate Occupied Jerusalem's (Al-Quds) Islamic and historical identity and threaten Islamic sovereignty over Al-Aqsa Mosque. Meanwhile, calls continue for Jerusalemites and those within the occupied territories to mobilize and defend Al-Aqsa Mosque courtyards to thwart the occupation's and colonists' schemes, and to emphasize that the mosque is a red line that cannot be crossed.Al-Aqsa Mosque is subjected to daily incursions by colonists under the protection of the occupation, in an attempt to impose temporal and spatial division, exacerbating tensions and threatening the mosque's religious and historical status.
