Abdulaziz Fahad al-Eid claimed the Diamond Tour title as the third round of the 10th Longines Hathab Qatar Equestrian Tour concluded at the Qatar Equestrian Federation’s indoor arena on Saturday.Al-Eid topped the 150cm category on Q-Hayen in 67.88 seconds. Khalid Abdulaziz al-Eid finished second on Raker in 68.30 seconds, while Hamad Nasser al-Qadi took third place on Nobel.Head of the Veterinary and Farriery Department at the Qatar Equestrian Federation Khajeem Faraj al-Adhba presented the awards to the podium winners.In the 120cm Bronze Tour individual category, Khalid Jassim al-Suwaidi won on Queenie in 23.66 seconds. Khalifa Abdullah al-Attiyah finished second on Elio in 24.42 seconds, while Abdulaziz Khalid al-Bukhari took third place on Flexi in 25.48 seconds.Team Ajwad claimed first place in the team competition with a combined time of 54.38 seconds, followed by Al-Bida'a and Al-Shaqab. Head of the Championship’s Facilities and Logistics Committee Mohammed Saleh al-Marri presented the awards.Meanwhile, Nasser Hamad al-Thani won the Future Riders class over 90cm obstacles on Rosie S in 19.23 seconds. Saud Abdullah al-Mohannadi finished second on Beyoncé in 19.31 seconds, while Salman Faisal al-Marri took third place on Gothenburg in 19.73 seconds. Deputy Championship Director Saeed al-Rashdi presented the awards.Al-Rashdi said the standard of show jumping had continued to improve, with growing participation across the different categories.He added that the championship provides riders with valuable competition experience, helps develop their technical skills and identifies promising talent for future international participation.Organised by the Qatar Equestrian Federation in partnership with Al Shaqab, the Longines Hathab series runs until June 2027. 

Khaled Abdulaziz al-Eid of Saudi Arabia won the Diamond Tour on the third and final day of the second round of the 10th Longines Hathab Qatar Equestrian Tour yesterday at the Qatar Equestrian Federation’s indoor arena.Al Eid topped the 150cm Diamond Tour in a time of 38.06 seconds on Rakker DMC without incurring any penalties.Fellow Saudi rider Abdulaziz Fahad Aleid finished second in 39.33 seconds on Q Hayen, while Qatar’s Hamad Nasser al-Qadi took third place on Happy Tina with a time of 35.94 seconds.Deputy Championship Director Saeed al-Rashdi presented the awards to the podium winners of the category.In the 120cm Bronze Tour dominated by Qatari riders, Khalid Jassim al-Suwaidi won on E.T’s Queeny Z with a time of 28.16 seconds without penalties. Sharida Nasser al-Kaabi finished second on Extra Pam in 29.37 seconds, while Suhaim Hamad al-Yafei took third place on Miss Tarara Les Hauts after clocking 29.80 seconds.In the team category, Team Ajwad secured first place with a combined time of 62.84 seconds, followed by Team Al-Bidda in second place (68.89 seconds) and Team Al-Shaqab in third (56.22 seconds). Member of the Championship Organizing Committee Khalid Sanad al-Nuaimi honoured the podium winners of the Bronze Tour.Meanwhile, Sultan Jassim al-Suwaidi won the Future Riders class over 90cm obstacles on Khaleesi, recording a time of 16.60 seconds without penalties. Mashael Mohammed al-Thani finished second on Reve du Coeur des Collines in 17.83 seconds, while Alqaqaa bin Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani took third place on Early Star d’Alfa in 18.42 seconds. Chairman of the Championship’s Ground Jury Ahmed al-Badawi presented the awards.The Longines Hathab Qatar Equestrian Tour, organised by the Qatar Equestrian Federation in partnership with Al Shaqab, runs until June 2027. 

Mohammed Saeed Haidan clinched the top honours in the Diamond Tour during the fifth round of the ninth edition of the Longines Hathab Championship – Qatar Equestrian Tour at the Qatar Equestrian Federation’s outdoor arena. Haidan clocked 32.83 seconds astride Quick, while Saudi rider Khaled al-Eid finished second with a time of 34.34 seconds on Q Line. Hamad Nasser al-Qadi was third in 38.98 seconds on Edison.In the 120cm Bronze Tour, Jaber Rashid al-Ameri took first place in 44.74 seconds on Apollon. Khaled al-Hadi finished second in 46.02 seconds on Capion, while Hamad Nasser al-Qadi came third on Deep Water in 50.79 seconds. In the Bronze Tour team event, The Dome emerged victorious, followed by Ajwad and Al Adaid Al Shaqab.In the 90cm Future Riders competition, Sultan Jassim al-Suwaidi secured first place on Violet. Fahad Talal al-Nuaimi finished second on Croat, and Mohammed al-Mutairi came third astride Baccarat.In Dressage, Hamad Nasser al-Marri won the preliminary test title with 68.333 points, while Hajar Khan claimed the Level 2 preliminary title with 70.000 points. Mohammed Faisal Al Marri topped the Junior Level 2 preliminary test with 68.621 points, and Michelle Grimes took first place in the Level 1 dressage round with 74.817 points.

Saudi rider Khalid al-Eid stole the spotlight in the Diamond Tour of the second round of the Longines Hathab – Qatar Equestrian Tour, securing both first and third places yesterday at QEF’s indoor arena.Al-Eid clocked 61.04 seconds on Q-Layen to win the title and added third place on Rakker DMC in 63.01 seconds. Brazil's Santiago Lambre took runner-up spot in 58 seconds on DB GI Diakitos in a field of just three riders.The Silver Tour delivered thrilling competition as Saeed Hamad Juma clinched victory in 26.49 seconds on Diesel. Hamad Nasser al-Qadi finished second in 26.93 seconds on Deep Water, while Salman Mohammed al-Emadi took third in 27.77 seconds on Toblerone.In the Future Riders class at 90cm, Fahad Talal al-Naimi emerged on top with a time of 54.14 seconds, riding Kroaat Van Orchid’s, just 0.14 seconds off the ideal time. Greek rider Melina Karagiannidi came second in 56.28 seconds on Tullibards Simply Cool, while Khalifa bin Joaan bin Hamad al-Thani secured third place in 56.31 seconds on Zion II VDK.Championship Director Abdullah Al-Marri hailed the strong performances across the opening two rounds, noting the intensity and competitiveness in both show jumping and dressage. He underlined that the consistency shown by riders reflects their commitment and preparation, setting the stage for the upcoming competitions on the QEF calendar.Al-Marri expressed optimism about the future of Qatari equestrian sport, stressing the importance of continued hard work ahead of regional and international challenges. He voiced confidence that Qatari riders will represent Al-Adam with pride and achieve results that mirror the country’s equestrian development.The ninth edition of the prestigious series is organised by the Qatar Equestrian Federation in partnership with Al Shaqab, a member of Qatar Foundation.
