Department of Meteorology warns of poor horizontal visibility

The Department of Meteorology has warned of poor horizontal visibility at most places at first in inshore areas.According to the Department's daily weather report, inshore conditions until 6:00 pm on Thursday will be misty to foggy at places at first, moderate in temperature daytime with some clouds, and relatively cold by night.Offshore, the weather will see some clouds at times.Inshore winds will be northwesterly to northeasterly at 05-15 KT. Offshore, winds will be northwesterly at 08 to 18 KT.Sea state inshore will range from 1-4 FT, while offshore it will range from 2-5 FT.Visibility inshore is expected to range between 4-9 km/2 km or less at places at first. Meteorology department expects hazy weather with some clouds today

Inshore weather until 6:00 pm on Thursday will see some clouds and will be hazy at places later, the Department of Meteorology said in its daily weather report. Offshore, the weather will see some clouds at times, the report added.Wind inshore will be northwesterly to westerly at 3–13 KT. Offshore wind will be westerly to northwesterly at 5–15 KT.Sea state inshore will be 1–2 ft, while offshore it will be 2–4 ft.Visibility inshore will be 4–10 km, while offshore it will be 5–10 km.

Meteorology forecasts very hot, slightly dusty weather today

The Department of Meteorology has forecast hot to very hot weather inshore until 6:00 pm on Tuesday, with slight dust in some areas and occasional clouds. Offshore, the weather will be hazy at times with some clouds. Inshore winds will be northwesterly at 6 to 16 KT, gusting to 26 KT, while offshore winds will be northwesterly to northeasterly at 5 to 15 KT, gusting to 20 KT. The sea state inshore will range from 1 to 3 feet, rising to 4 feet, while offshore it will be 2 to 4 feet, rising to 6 feet. Visibility is expected to range from 4 to 90 km inshore and from 4 to 10 km offshore.
