Harry Kane scored twice and Joshua Kimmich bagged a late winner as Bayern Munich came back to win 3-2 at Borussia Dortmund on Saturday and move 11 points clear in the Bundesliga.Bayern trailed at half-time after Nico Schlotterbeck headed Dortmund in front but Kane scored a tap-in and a penalty.Dortmund levelled through Daniel Svensson but Kimmich was in the right place to blast in from close range with three minutes remaining to leave Bayern as runaway favourites for the title.The result all but sews up another Bundesliga crown for the Bavarian giants with only 10 matchdays remaining, while continuing Dortmund's rough week, just days after their Champions League exit at Atalanta.Dortmund have now lost just twice in 24 league matches this season, both times to Bayern.Kane's fourth successive Bundesliga brace took him to 30 goals from 24 games this season.Bayern had played two fewer matches in the past 11 days but Dortmund looked the fresher early on as they chased a victory to move them five points behind the leaders.With 18 minutes gone, Schlotterbeck caught Josip Stanisic on the shin with his studs. Despite Bayern demanding the Germany defender see red, Schlotterbeck was shown a yellow card.The centre-back was in the thick of the action again just eight minutes later when he rose high to head in a Daniel Svensson corner and put Dortmund in front.Dortmund kept up the energy after the break but Bayern levelled things up against the run of play in simple fashion.Kimmich chipped the ball over the Dortmund defence, onto the head of Serge Gnabry who squared for Kane to score in the 54th minute.With just over 20 minutes remaining, Stanisic tussled with Schlotterbeck again and the Bayern player went down after the defender clipped his trailing leg, bringing Kane to the spot.The England captain converted to give Bayern the lead. Kane now has nine goals in his past five Bundesliga games, four of which have come from the penalty spot.Dortmund pushed forward in response and Marcel Sabitzer floated in a cross which Svensson swept home to give them hope on 83 minutes.Not content to play for a draw, Bayern sought the goal which would all but secure them the league title.That moment came as Kimmich did remarkably well to adjust his body and hammer in the decisive strike with his left foot after Dortmund had failed to adequately clear a Michael Olise cross in the 87th minute. Leverkusen grab pointFormer Liverpool defender Jarell Quansah scored with two minutes remaining to snatch Bayer Leverkusen a 1-1 home draw with Mainz.Leverkusen trailed after an excellent Sheraldo Becker goal but Quansah squeezed the ball in at the near post late on.The point moved Leverkusen, who have a game in hand to be played at Hamburg on Wednesday, three behind fourth-placed Stuttgart.Leverkusen looked leggy after a hard-fought scoreless Champions League draw with Olympiacos midweek, which sent them through to the last 16 where they will face Arsenal.Moments before half-time, Leverkusen right-back Arthur was stretchered off with what appeared to be a serious knee injury.Elsewhere, St Pauli's resurgence continued with a 1-0 win at high-flying Hoffenheim, with Mathias Pereira Lage's goal just before half-time the difference.Pauli have won three of their past four to climb out of the relegation spots, while third-placed Hoffenheim have picked up just four points in their past four games.Borussia Moenchengladbach's Kevin Diks converted a penalty four minutes into stoppage time to take his side to a crucial 1-0 win over Union Berlin.Gladbach's first win since early January took them three points clear of the relegation playoff spot.Fellow battlers Werder Bremen also picked up a crucial victory, winning 2-0 at home to last-placed Heidenheim to move out of the automatic relegation placings.Double winners in 2004, Bremen had picked up just four points in 13 games since their last win in early November, but won thanks to a Jovan Milosevic strike and a late Heidenheim own goal. 

Harry Kane scored twice in the first half as Bayern Munich cruised to a 3-0 win at Werder Bremen Saturday, restoring their six-point lead atop the Bundesliga table.Borussia Dortmund's 4-0 victory over Mainz on Friday drew them within three points of the league leaders but Bayern sent a clear response.They were in control from start to finish in Bremen, with Leon Goretzka joining the England captain on the scoresheet in the 70th minute.Kane has 26 goals in 22 Bundesliga games this season and 41 in all competitions, 13 of those from the penalty spot.Kane's second strike brought up 500 goals in his career for club and country and the striker told reporters: "500 is a great number - a lot of hard work and dedication has gone into it."All I can say is thanks to all of my teammates and managers over the years -- and I look forward to the next 50, the next 100."Bayern lined up without the suspended Michael Olise for the first time in 89 matches in all competitions since the France winger arrived from Crystal Palace in 2024.Bremen kept the league leaders at bay in the opening stages but Kane gave Bayern the lead with 22 minutes played, converting a penalty after VAR found Lennart Karl was felled in the box.It was the third straight match Kane had given Bayern the lead from the penalty spot.Bayern doubled their lead three minutes later when Kane snuck a low shot in off the right post from the edge of the box.Bayern captain Manuel Neuer was subbed off at half-time with a recurrence of a calf injury, but sporting director Max Eberl said it was "nothing dramatic" and "a precautionary measure."Bremen's Marco Gruell hit the post shortly after the break but Bayern put the game to bed when Goretzka swept home with 20 minutes remaining.Hoffenheim continued their turnaround this season, beating Freiburg 3-0 at home with goals from Fisnik Asllani, Ozan Kabak and Valentin Gendrey as they tightened their grip on third spot.Finishing just one spot above the relegation playoff spot last season, Hoffenheim, located in a village of around 3,500 people, are on course for Champions League football.In their past 16 league matches, Hoffenheim have only lost twice - to Bayern and Dortmund.An Ermedin Demirovic double took Stuttgart to a 3-1 home victory over Cologne in Saturday's late match to lift the German Cup holders into fourth spot.Demirovic gave Stuttgart the lead after a quarter hour, but Ragnar Ache pulled one back with 11 minutes remaining.Just five minutes later, Demirovic knocked in a volley to restore Stuttgart's lead. Germany forward Deniz Undav wrapped up the three points with a stoppage-time goal.Bayer Leverkusen beat St Pauli 4-0 at home, their fifth win in their past six games taking the 2024 title winners past RB Leipzig into fifth.Former Liverpool centre-back Jarell Quansah headed Leverkusen in front with 13 minutes gone and Patrik Schick struck just a minute later to put the hosts in front.Edmond Tapsoba and Ernest Poku added second half goals for Leverkusen, who play at Olympiacos in the Champions League knockouts on Wednesday.Eintracht Frankfurt cruised to a 3-0 home victory over Borussia Moenchengladbach to hand coach Albert Riera a first win in charge.Nathaniel Brown, Ayoube Amaimouni and Ansgar Knauff scored for Frankfurt, who overtook Freiburg into seventh.Elsewhere, Hamburg came from a goal down to beat Union Berlin 3-2 at home and leapfrog their opponents into ninth. 

Serhou Guirassy scored twice in the second half as Borussia Dortmund came from behind to beat last-placed Heidenheim 3-2 at home Sunday and move six points behind Bundesliga leaders Bayern Munich.Waldemar Anton put the nervy hosts in front but Julian Niehues scored either side of half-time to give Heidenheim the lead.Guirassy had scored just one Bundesliga goal in 10 games since October but grabbed two inside a minute to put Dortmund back in front.Guirassy missed a late penalty but Dortmund, who were 11 points behind Bayern at Christmas, held on to drag themselves back into the title race. Dortmund host Bayern in late February.Dortmund looked fearful despite facing last-placed Heidenheim. Anton put the hosts in front in scrappy fashion, tapping in after Heidenheim goalie Diant Ramaj spilled a corner.The hosts switched off and Heidenheim pounced, Niehues tapping in after a failed Dortmund clearance deep into first-half stoppage time.Niehues struck once more after half-time, blasting a long-range shot into the far corner.Dortmund were handed a lifeline when VAR found a Niklas Dorsch handball in the box.With first-choice penalty taker Emre Can out with illness, Dortmund captain Nico Schlotterbeck handed the ball to Guirassy, who snuck his shot inside the post.With a taste for goal, Guirassy put Dortmund in front with a low shot at the near post a minute later.Guirassy had a chance to make it a hat-trick when called to the penalty spot again with five minutes remaining but he chipped well over the crossbar.Ermedin Demirovic unleashed a thunderbolt in the 90th minute to send Stuttgart into the top four with a 1-0 home win over Freiburg in the Bundesliga.RB Leipzig's home defeat by Mainz on Saturday left the door open for the German Cup holders climb into the Champions League places.Stuttgart were in complete control but were kept at bay until the final minute, when substitute Demirovic latched onto a Deniz Undav pass and hit a dipping effort just under the bar.The win takes Stuttgart, who were drawn to face Scottish champions Celtic in the knockout play-off round of the Europa League on Friday, three points clear of Leipzig in fourth spot."What can you say?" Stuttgart coach Sebastian Hoeness told DAZN about Demirovic's goal. "It was beautiful. There were some other nice things, but the goal was simply world-class."Stuttgart peppered Freiburg's goal in the opening half but somehow failed to break through.Undav had a shot cleared off the line by defender Matthias Ginter before the half-hour and blasted wide minutes later with just goalkeeper Noah Atubolu to beat.Atubolu kept Bilal El Khannouss out after the break while one-on-one with the Moroccan.Demirovic, brought off the bench with 13 minutes remaining, took a touch from an Undav pass and fired Stuttgart in front. The goal was Demirovic's 50th in the Bundesliga but his first from outside the box.Stuttgart goalkeeper Alexander Nuebel ensured the hosts claimed all three points with a superb reflex save from Bruno Ogbus in stoppage time. 

Michael Olise scored twice and set a Bundesliga assist record as Bayern Munich crushed Wolfsburg 8-1 to go 11 points clear at the top of the table.The Bavarians were ruthless in their return from the winter break, forcing the struggling Wolves into two own goals while Harry Kane, Luis Diaz, Leon Goretzka and Raphael Guerriero also got on the scoresheet.Unbeaten Bayern have now dropped just four points in 16 Bundesliga games this season, the best record in Europe’s top-five leagues. Olise’s two assists brought his tally to 25 in 50 league games, more than any other player to have played a half-century of Bundesliga matches.The victory extended Bayern’s dominant record against Wolfsburg, with 21 wins at two draws in their past 23 games in all competitions dating back to 2015. Bayern’s last league defeat against Wolfsburg came in January 2015, when a 23-year-old Kevin de Bruyne scored twice and laid on another in a 4-1 win for the Wolves six months before his move to Manchester City.Wolfsburg’s hopes of bucking the recent trend took an early hit when Killian Fischer deflected a Diaz cross into his own net. One-time Bayern academy player Dzenan Pejcinovic pulled one back for the Wolves but their celebrations were short-lived, with Olise assisting Diaz on the half-hour mark.Bayern continued the rampage early in the second half, with Olise scoring and forcing Wolfsburg’s Moritz Jenz into conceding another own goal inside the space of three minutes. Guerreiro, Kane and Olise all scored inside an eight-minute period midway through the second half while Goretzka added another with two minutes remaining to round out the rout.Goretzka’s goal was Bayern’s 63rd league goal this season, more than any other side has scored in the first 16 matchdays in Bundesliga history.Kane’s strike was his 20th in the league this campaign, keeping him on track to beat Robert Lewandowski’s record of 41 in a Bundesliga season. Earlier on Saturday, Haris Tabakovic bagged a brace as Borussia Moenchengladbach cruised to a 4-0 home win over Augsburg. 

Bayern Munich coach Vincent Kompany did not waste time thinking about his new contract, saying his main request to club bosses was that Tuesday's announcement did not disrupt preparations for Wednesday's Champions League match against visiting Club Brugge.The German champions announced a contract extension with the Belgian coach by two years following Bayern's winning start to the season with 11 wins from 11 matches across all competitions. "I did not spend any time thinking about it," Kompany told a press conference. "The question came and my only request was that this was not going to become a big issue. It will be done with quickly and we can focus on the next game. It was no big issue and no talks. Quickly and clearly and then we can focus on the next game. There are not too many better places (to work at) than Bayern."Kompany won the Bundesliga with Bayern in his first season in charge and the German champions are now on seven league wins from seven matches to top the league table. In the Champions League they are seeking their third straight victory when they host the Belgian club on Wednesday in a match for which Kompany, a product of Belgian rivals Anderlecht, feels like a bit of a rivalry."I just thought about it. We play a Belgian team but my youth was spent at Anderlecht. There is a bit of a competition feeling," he said. "I have a lot of respect individually for people at Club Brugge but if it is only about me, there is a bit of that rivalry feeling."One experience he is not keen on revisiting was the racist abuse he and his then Anderlecht team had to endure at a game in Brugge in 2021 when he was coaching the Brussels club. "It's a really difficult answer. I was the captain of the national team, I played for the national team for 17 years and you go to a place and your staff gets called 'a brown monkey'," Kompany said. "It is not easy. I don't want to focus on anything else right now. After the game I was speechless, four years later I am still speechless."
