His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani has issued three Amiri decisions establishing boards and making senior appointments across key national institutions.Under Amiri Decision No 20 of 2026, HH the Amir established the board of directors for the Qatar Foundation for Supporting Innovation and Scientific Research. Her Excellency Dr Hessa bint Sultan al-Jaber will chair the board, with Dr Ahmed Khalifa Elmagarmid serving as deputy chairman. Other members include His Excellency Mohammed bin Khalifa al-Suwaidi, Managing Director of Hamad Medical Corporation; Dr Asma bint Ali al-Thani, Vice President for Health and Medical Sciences at Qatar University; Abdullah Hamad al-Misnad, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Qai; and Hamad Ali al-Khater, CEO of Qatar Airways.The board will also include a representative from the Qatar Investment Authority and two experts to be appointed by the chair. Members will serve four-year terms, renewable for similar periods.Amiri Decision No 21 of 2026 constituted the Board of Directors of the Qatar Anti-Doping Agency. Dr Abdulwahab Abubaker al-Musleh was named chairman, with Dr Ahmed Ali al-Mohammed as vice-chairman. The remaining members are Dr Ahmed Abdulrahman al-Emadi, Dr Einas Abdulaziz al-Kuwari, Brigadier General Abdulaziz Ali al-Sulaiti, Mubarak Mohammed al-Ali, and Dr Moza Suleiman al-Hail. The board will serve a four-year term, renewable for one or more similar periods.Amiri Decision No 22 of 2026 appointed Dr Nasser Saad al-Saad as Chief Executive Officer of the Qatar Anti-Doping Agency.All three decisions take immediate effect and will be published in the official gazette.
