The Ministry of Municipality issued ministerial decision No. 181 of 2025, naming Street No. 90 in Al Wakra after the martyr Bader Saad Mohammed Al Humaidi Al Dosari, in appreciation of his sacrifices while performing his duty. The street is located opposite his father's house. The decision orders the Survey Department to register the new name in the Ministry of Municipality's database to ensure its official adoption in all records and documents.

Al Wakra Municipality's Technical Control Section in co-operation with the Mechanical Equipment Department has demolished a number of abandoned buildings that posed a danger to public safety and distorted the city’s urban appearance. This included an abandoned residential complex consisting of 60 housing units, in execution of a decision issued by the Building Maintenance and Demolition Committee, after completing the applicable legal and technical procedures. This step comes as part of Al Wakra Municipality’s ongoing efforts to address abandoned and neglected buildings within its administrative boundaries.

Al Wakra Municipality’s Cleaning Section continued its field efforts to combat insects from mid-April to mid-August this year.The comprehensive plan included treating insect breeding sources and spraying various sites within its administrative boundaries.These involved spraying 7,803 public street waste containers, carrying out 51 spraying operations in public parks and beaches, spraying 348 sites, fogging 1,711 residential sites using ultra-low volume spraying technology, and treating 221 water accumulation sites.
