Albudaiw stressed that this step represents a new hope for alleviating the humanitarian suffering of the Palestinian people in Gaza and paving the way to address the tragic conditions experienced by civilians, particularly concerning the provision of medical and food aid and ensuring the safe and sustainable flow of humanitarian support. GCC Secretary General underscored the necessity for this stage to be the beginning of a clear political path that leads to the complete withdrawal of Israeli forces from the Gaza Strip, the restoration of security and stability, and the resumption of international efforts aimed at achieving a just and comprehensive solution on the basis of the two-state solution. "This path must also enable the Palestinian people to realise their legitimate rights to establish their independent state on the June 4, 1967, borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital, in accordance with the Arab Peace Initiative and United Nations resolutions," he concluded.

The Ministry of Municipality and the Supreme Judicial Council (SJC) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to manage, regulate, and implement electronic auctions. The agreement comes as part of ongoing institutional cooperation aimed at enhancing transparency in the sale and management of seized items, including vehicles, machinery, and equipment, while keeping pace with the country's digital transformation. The MoU was signed by Assistant Undersecretary for Shared Services Affairs at the SJC, Jassim Ali Al Mahmoudi and Vice Chairman of the Joint Committee for the Removal of Abandoned Vehicles and Equipment, and Director of Al Wakrah Municipality, Jaber Hassan Al Jaber on behalf of the Ministry of Municipality. The signing ceremony was attended by His Excellency Deputy President of the Enforcement Court, Justice Mohammed Khalifa Al Kubaisi and Chairman of the Joint Committee for the Removal of Abandoned Vehicles and Equipment, Colonel Staff Saud Abdullah Al Khater, along with several senior officials from both sides. The agreement aims to develop the online auction mechanism in line with modern standards that ensure transparency and efficiency. It will leverage the Supreme Judicial Council's technological expertise to establish specialized digital platforms, integrated electronic payment services, and a comprehensive marketing and advertising strategy within and outside Qatar. Jaber Hassan Al Jaber affirmed that the MoU reflects the Ministry of Municipality's commitment to advancing the system for managing abandoned vehicles and equipment. He also commended President Trump and all mediators for their significant efforts in reaching the agreement, affirming the State of Palestine's readiness to work with relevant mediators and international partners to ensure its success, in order to achieve stability and a lasting and just peace in accordance with international law. President Abbas stressed the need for all parties to commit to the immediate implementation of the agreement, including the release of all hostages and prisoners, the entry of urgent humanitarian aid through United Nations organizations, the prevention of displacement or annexation, and the commencement of the reconstruction process. He reiterated that sovereignty over the Gaza Strip belongs to the State of Palestine, and that the connection between the West Bank and the Gaza Strip must be achieved through Palestinian laws and government institutions, through a unified Palestinian administrative committee and Palestinian security forces, within the framework of a single system and law, and with Arab and international support.

The movement called on President Trump and various Arab, Islamic, and international parties to oblige the occupation government to implement the full requirements of the agreement and not allow it to evade or delay in implementing what was agreed upon. QatarEnergy has entered into an agreement with Shell to acquire a 27% participating interest in the North Cleopatra block offshore Egypt.Under the terms of the agreement, which is subject to approval by the Egyptian government, Shell will retain a 36% participating interest as operator. The other participating interest holders are Chevron (27%) and Tharwa Petroleum Company (10%).Commenting on this agreement, HE the Minister of State for Energy Affairs, Saad Sherida al-Kaabi,the President and CEO of QatarEnergy, said: “We are pleased to secure this additional exploration acreage, which further expands our upstream exploration activities in the Arab Republic of Egypt.”Minister al-Kaabi added, “We would like to take this opportunity to thank the Egyptian Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, and our partners in the block for their valued support and cooperation. We look forward to working together and delivering our exploration objectives.”The North Cleopatra block is located offshore Egypt in the frontier Herodotus basin and is north and adjacent to the North El-Dabaa block, where QatarEnergy holds a 23% participating Interest. The North Cleopatra block covers an area of over 3,400 square kilometers in water depths of up to 2,600 meters.
