Palestine warns against Israeli entity's calls to treat Gaza Strip as real estate

The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs warned on Thursday of the danger of provocative Israeli calls to treat the Gaza Strip as real estate for sale, division, or allocation. The ministry considered this a continuation of the crimes of genocide and displacement, and an official admission of the occupation's intentions to completely destroy the Gaza Strip and transform it into a land unfit for human habitation. It also clearly reveals plans to displace its population. The ministry condemned in a statement the Israeli occupation's escalation of genocide and the use of starvation as a weapon of war. It affirms that the Gaza Strip is an integral part of the State of Palestine, in accordance with international law and legitimacy resolutions, and rejects all calls that treat the Strip as a mere empty land, as if it were up for sale or piracy at the auction of racist colonial rulers. The ministry warned of the dangers of international inaction and failure to halt these crimes and protect Palestinian civilians, calling for immediate intervention to compel the Israeli occupation government to halt its aggression against the Palestinian people and to salvage whatever remains of the credibility of the international system and those responsible for implementing its charters and laws.

Qatar strongly condemns Israeli Occupation's large-scale ground operation to take control of Gaza

The State of Qatar condemned, in the strongest terms, the wide-scale ground operation launched by the Israeli occupation to take control of Gaza, describing it as an extension of the war of genocide against the brotherly Palestinian people and a blatant violation of international law.In a statement issued Wednesday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs warned that the Israeli occupation seeks to undermine the prospects for peace in the region through systematic plans that pose a threat to regional and international peace and security, including the brutal war of genocide on Gaza and its settlement, colonial, and racist policies based on arrogance, aggression, and treachery. This, the Ministry emphasized, requires decisive international solidarity to compel Israel to adhere to the international legitimacy resolutions. The Ministry reaffirmed the State of Qatar's firm and permanent stance in support of the Palestinian cause and the steadfastness of the brotherly Palestinian people, based on the international legitimacy resolutions and the two-state solution that guarantees the establishment of an independent Palestinian state on the 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital.

UN rights chief condemns Israeli strike in Doha as assault on regional stability

Israel undermined regional peace and stability in its attack last week on Hamas leaders who had been in Qatar to negotiate a ceasefire, the United Nations rights chief said during a debate at the Human Rights Council in Geneva on Tuesday."Israel's strike on negotiators in Doha on 9 September was a shocking breach of international law, an assault on regional peace and stability, and a blow against the integrity of mediation and negotiating processes around the world," UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Volker Turk told delegates. The airstrike risked undermining negotiations for a ceasefire in Gaza's nearly two-year-old war, he said. The strike, which Hamas says killed five of its members but not its leadership, has prompted Gulf Arab states to close ranks. Arab and Islamic states held a summit in Doha on Monday to back Qatar.Qatar urged council members to hold Israel accountable. The Israeli strike on Doha amounted to "state terrorism" and a direct threat to regional stability, Minister of State for International Cooperation, Mariam bint Ali bin Nasser Al Misnad, told the Tuesday's debate.Saudi Arabia's envoy in Geneva, Abdulmohsen Majed Binkhothaila, said: "Israeli actions are no longer sporadic violations, they constitute a systematic behaviour based on the indiscriminate killings ... and forced displacement in violation of all international norms and laws."Algeria and Pakistan joined Qatar in condemning Israel, while the European Union expressed its solidarity with Qatar.Separately on Tuesday, a UN Commission of Inquiry concluded on Tuesday that Israel has committed genocide in Gaza, accusations Israel strongly rejected as it launched a long-threatened ground assault on Gaza City.
