Tragic bus crash in Egypt’s Minya Governorate leaves eight dead and fourteen injured

Eight people were killed, and 14 others injured on Monday in a bus accident on the Eastern Desert Road in Beni Mazar, Minya Governorate, southern Egypt. Egypt's Ministry of Health and Population reported that 34 ambulances were dispatched to the scene, transporting the injured to hospitals. 16 Palestinians martyred, several injured in Israeli airstrikes across Gaza

Several Palestinians were martyred and others injured by Israeli occupation airstrikes and gunfire since the early hours of Thursday. In Al-Zawaida, central Gaza, Israeli occupation forces committed a massacre after bombing a home which was sheltering displaced people. The attack left 11 people martyred, dozens injured, and several others missing under the rubble, according to the Palestinian news ageny (WAFA). In Khan Younis, four Palestinians were martyred and others wounded when Israeli warplanes struck a home near the Jordanian field hospital west of the city. Another civilian was martyred in Bani Suhaila, east of Khan Younis, after being targeted by an Israeli drone in the Saqiya area. In central Gaza's Nuseirat refugee camp, several people were injured when Israeli aircraft bombed a house. Meanwhile, in Gaza City's Al-Tuffah neighborhood, others were wounded when a home on Yafa Street was struck. The Israeli army continues its aggression, carrying out intensive air raids across Gaza City in particular, in an effort to force residents to flee toward the central and southern parts of the Strip. More than 65,000 Palestinians were martyred, and 167,160 injured in the ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 2023.

Palestinians martyred and injured in ongoing Israeli bombardment of Gaza

Several Palestinians were martyred and injured since dawn on Monday in the ongoing Israeli bombardment of the Gaza Strip.According to Palestinian news agency (WAFA), medical sources said that a number of Palestinians were martyred and others were injured when Israeli aircraft bombed a house in Al-Sabra neighborhood, south of Gaza City.The sources added that a child was martyred and others were injured when occupation forces bombed a vehicle east of Al-Zawaida town, central Gaza Strip.Eyewitnesses reported that residents remain trapped inside residential towers in Tal Al-Hawa neighborhood of Gaza City amid continuous Israeli air and artillery bombardment.Since the beginning of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip in October 2023, at least 65,283 Palestinians — mostly women and children — have been martyred, and 166,575 others injured, according to preliminary figures. Many victims remain under the rubble and in the streets, out of reach of ambulances and rescue crews.

11 Palestinians martyred in Israeli bombing of various areas in Gaza Strip

In a separate incident, four Palestinians were martyred and dozens injured when Israeli forces opened fire on a group of civilians waiting for aid in northern Rafah, in the southern part of the Strip. Israeli forces are intensifying the demolition and destruction of homes in northern Gaza and Gaza City, as part of a continued effort to forcibly displace civilians toward the southern regions of the Strip. The ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 2023 has so far resulted in at least 64,803 martyrs, and over 164,264 injuries.

3 killed, 70 injured in gas tanker truck explosion in Mexico

At least three people were killed and 70 others injured when a tanker truck overturned, caught fire and exploded on a highway in southeastern Mexico City. Mexico City Mayor Clara Brugada said on X that 70 people were injured and three died, according to the preliminary toll. A preliminary list of those hospitalized was published and will be updated as medical assessments continue. The Mexico City Fire Department later stated that the fire inside and around the overturned tanker truck, which was transporting liquefied petroleum gas, had been completely extinguished. Israeli Occupation kills 2 Palestinians in West Bank

Two Palestinians were killed and others were injured by Israeli occupation forces' fire on Monday in Jenin camp, north of the occupied West Bank. The Palestinian Ministry of Health said that two boys (14 and 17 years old) were killed and a number of people were injured by Israeli occupation forces' bullets while trying to enter the Jenin camp to inspect their homes. The ministry said that its crews dealt with a young man (22 years old) who was injured by live bullets in the abdomen, inside Jenin camp, and transferred him to the hospital. They also transferred a girl (12 years old) who was injured in her hand after being chased by occupation soldiers. Local sources said that occupation soldiers arrested a number of people and took them to a military barracks inside the camp. They also set fire to a house, amid heavy live ammunition fire. The sources added that the number of martyrs in Jenin has risen to 47 since the start of the Israeli occupation's aggression on the city and its camp on Jan. 21, which also affected several towns and villages in the governorate. During its aggression, the Israeli occupation completely destroyed more than 600 homes in Jenin camp, and partially demolished approximately 1,000 housing units, displacing approximately 22,000 residents of the camp to the city and the towns and villages of the governorate.
