Sultan of Oman, UAE President renew condemnation of Israeli attack on Qatar

Sultan Haitham bin Tariq of the Sultanate of Oman and the President of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, who is visiting Oman, renewed their condemnation of the Israeli attack on the State of Qatar, stressing their full solidarity with Qatar and support for any steps it may take to safeguard its sovereignty, security, and the wellbeing of its citizens. The two leaders emphasized that the Israeli attack on the State of Qatar represents a violation of national sovereignty, a breach of international law, and a serious threat to regional security and stability. They also addressed the progress of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) efforts, with both leaders reiterating their joint commitment to strengthening Gulf integration and supporting initiatives that advance the GCC's objectives, deepen cooperation among its member states, and fulfill the aspirations of its peoples for development and prosperity. AFC affirms solidarity with Qatar

President of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) and Senior Vice-President of the FIFA Council Sheikh Salman bin Ebrahim Al Khalifa expressed his full solidarity with the State of Qatar following the brutal aggression on Doha on Tuesday.In his remarks to Qatar News Agency (QNA), the AFC President said that the Asian football family stands with the State of Qatar, praising the country's position on the international map and its noble roles in establishing the values of love and peace around the world, asking Allah to protect Qatar and its people, to perpetuate the blessings of security and stability, and to always remain an oasis of security, peace, and prosperity.

HH the Amir receives verbal message from President of Egypt

His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani received a verbal message from the President of the sisterly Arab Republic of Egypt Abdel Fattah El-Sisi. The message expressed Egypt's support and solidarity with Qatar and condemned the treacherous Israeli attack, in addition to the most regional and international developments. The message was delivered by Minister of Foreign Affairs, Immigration and Egyptian Expatriates Affairs Dr. Badr Abdel Aati during a meeting with HH the Amir at his office in the Amiri Diwan Thursday morning. At the beginning of the meeting, Egyptian Minister of Foreign Affairs conveyed to His Highness greetings from the President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, as well as affirmation of Egypt's stance rejecting any action that threatens Qatar's security, stability, and sovereignty. He also condemned the treacherous Israeli attack on Doha, which constitutes a violation of international law, affirming Egypt's support for and solidarity with Qatar and its people, and its full support for any decision it takes. For his part, HH the Amir entrusted Egyptian Minister of Foreign Affairs to convey his greetings to his brother, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, expressing his thanks and appreciation for his sincere fraternal feelings and the support of the sisterly Arab Republic of Egypt for the State of Qatar, wishing him continued success and the brotherly Egyptian people further progress and prosperity. HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani received a phone call on Wednesday from Sultan Haitham bin Tariq of the Sultanate of Oman. During the call, the Sultan expressed Oman's solidarity with the State of Qatar and its strong condemnation of the blatant Israeli attack that targeted the residences of several Hamas leaders, describing it as a criminal act and a flagrant violation of all international laws and norms, as well as a threat to the security of the State of Qatar and the region. The Sultan also reaffirmed Oman's firm rejection of any aggression that threatens the security and safety of the State of Qatar and undermines the security and stability of the region, emphasizing that the Sultanate of Oman stands with the State of Qatar in all measures it takes to protect its security and preserve its sovereignty.
