According to Palestinian sources, dozens of colonists entered the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque through the Moroccan Gate, under the protection of the Israeli police, carried out provocative tours, and performed Talmudic rituals. Day by day, the assaults by the occupation and its colonists on Al-Aqsa Mosque are escalating, intensifying particularly during Jewish holidays. During these occasions, the so-called Temple groups have vowed to surpass previous records of Al-Aqsa intruders, offering free transportation from various areas. Since the start of the comprehensive Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank in October 2023, tens of thousands of colonists have stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque under the protection of the occupation forces, amid tightened entry measures to the mosque and the entrances of the Old City.

Palestinian news agency (WAFA) reported that the colonists' raid was accompanied by provocative practices, including the performance of Talmudic and Torah rituals, in addition to group clapping and dancing inside the mosque.For its part, the Palestinian Ministry of Awqaf said that the former Knesset member Rabbi Yehuda Glick stormed Al-Aqsa wearing Torah religious clothing, guarded by the Israeli occupation police, who imposed strict restrictions on the Palestinians' entry to the mosque, as they checked their IDs, and detained some at the gates.These incursions are part of the occupation's efforts to obliterate Occupied Jerusalem's (Al-Quds) Islamic and historical identity and threaten Islamic sovereignty over Al-Aqsa Mosque. Meanwhile, calls continue for Jerusalemites and those within the occupied territories to mobilize and defend Al-Aqsa Mosque courtyards to thwart the occupation's and colonists' schemes, and to emphasize that the mosque is a red line that cannot be crossed.Al-Aqsa Mosque is subjected to daily incursions by colonists under the protection of the occupation, in an attempt to impose temporal and spatial division, exacerbating tensions and threatening the mosque's religious and historical status.

Qatar slams attack on mosque in Sudan's El Fasher City

Qatar has vehemently condemned the attack that targeted a mosque in El Fasher city in Sudan, which resulted in fatalities and injuries.In a statement Saturday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs considered the bombing a flagrant violation of international humanitarian law, stressing Qatar's rejection of attacks on places of worship and the terrorising of civilians.The ministry reiterated Qatar's unwavering position in rejecting violence, terrorism, and criminal acts, regardless of motives or reasons.It extended Qatar's condolences to the families of the victims, and to the government and people of Sudan, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.

Historic mosque in Al Jumailiya inaugurated

The Ministry of Endowments (Awqaf) and Islamic Affairs, represented by Mosques Department, inaugurated the historic mosque in Al Rafiq area of Al Jumailiya following the completion of comprehensive maintenance work. This initiative is part of the ministry's plan to expand and develop mosques across all areas of the country, in line with urban growth, population increase, and Qatar National Vision 2030.The historic mosque features a main prayer hall accommodating 36 worshippers, as well as the mosque's liwan that can also accommodate the same number, where Friday prayers are held. The mosque also includes 120-square-meter courtyard, with its southeastern corner housing a minaret reflecting a traditional architectural style, while the ablution area is located in the northeastern section.The ministry explained that maintenance work was carried out on both the mosque's exterior and interior walls to preserve its heritage character, including construction of a new roof in keeping with traditional architectural spirit of historic mosques.Emphasizing the importance of preserving the mosque's heritage essence, the ministry added that the facility has been equipped with a new electrical network, air conditioning, lighting and sound systems, as well as security and safety devices.

Tens of thousands of Palestinian citizens performed Friday prayers at the blessed Al Aqsa Mosque, arriving since the early morning hours despite the Israeli occupation's military restrictions.Local sources reported that occupation forces intensified their military measures around the Old City of Jerusalem, obstructing the movement of worshipers and their entry to Al Aqsa, while police officers were present among the worshipers during the prayer.A source from the Islamic Waqf Department in Jerusalem confirmed that Al Aqsa Mosque is expected to witness aggression by settlers during the upcoming months of September and October, coinciding with Jewish holidays, which settlers are expected to exploit to increase their incursions and impose new Judaization rituals in the mosque.He stated that the incursions take place under the protection of occupation forces, during which settlers perform Talmudic rituals, raise occupation flags, prostrate, blow the horn, bring in plant offerings and temple tools, and turn the eastern area into a miniature synagogue.
