East Timor's development and strategic independence will find firm and lasting support.ASEAN was founded in 1967 and currently comprises 11 members: Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, and East Timor.
