Russian officials report two people injured in Ukrainian missile attack on Belgorod

Russian authorities announced that two people were injured in a Ukrainian missile attack on the city of Belgorod in western Russia. Belgorod Regional Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov said via Telegram that two civilians were injured in a missile attack on Belgorod.A man was hit by shrapnel in the stomach, and a woman is also believed to be injured. He warned of possible delays in missile and drone attack alerts.The attack caused a major disruption to electricity supplies, and efforts are underway to convert vital infrastructure to back up generation.Reports and information from both countries regarding field data conflict is impossible to verify from independent sources, given the ongoing war and fighting since February 2022.

Ukraine: 1,105,490 Russian personnel killed or wounded since start of war

The Ukrainian Army said that the total combat losses of Russian forces since the start of the war on Ukrainian territory—from Feb. 24, 2022, to Sep. 25, 2025—amount to approximately 1,105,490 personnel, including 940 killed or wounded in the past 24 hours.The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said in a statement that the Russian army has lost 11,201 tanks, 23,287 armored combat vehicles, 33,133 artillery systems, 1,501 multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS), 1,222 air defense systems, 426 aircraft, 345 helicopters, 63,235 operational-tactical UAVs, 3,747 cruise missiles, 28 warships/boats, 1 submarine, 62,736 vehicles and fuel tanks, and 3,975 units of special equipment, according to Ukraine news agency (Ukrinform).Russia and Ukraine have been exchanging reports almost daily since the beginning of the war without independent verification of these claims due to the conditions of the war and ongoing battles since Feb. 24, 2022.

Russia claims heavy Ukrainian losses and drone interceptions in latest military operations

The Russian Ministry of Defense announced Sunday its forces had killed nearly 1,280 Ukrainian soldiers and intercepted 65 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in a series of ongoing military operations across various frontlines. In an official statement, the ministry said Russian ground forces carried out targeted strikes against Ukrainian military units in multiple combat zones. The attacks reportedly resulted in the destruction of dozens of armored vehicles, artillery systems, military transport vehicles, ammunition depots, and electronic warfare stations. Additionally, the ministry reported that the Black Sea Fleet destroyed two Ukrainian unmanned surface vessels in the northwestern part of the Black Sea. Russian operational—tactical aircraft and drones also targeted what were described as transport infrastructure facilities being used to support Ukrainian military operations, as well as sites allegedly involved in the launch and storage of long-range drones. These claims come amid the continuing war that began on February 24, 2022, with both Russia and Ukraine regularly issuing conflicting reports on battlefield developments and military successes. Russia claims downing 361 Ukrainian drones, launches coordinated strikes on battlefronts

Russia's Defense Ministry announced Sunday its forces had downed 361 Ukrainian drones and conducted a series of coordinated strikes on Ukrainian military positions along active frontlines.The ministry added in a statement that Russian operational—tactical aviation, unmanned aerial vehicles, missile troops, and artillery units carried out attacks on 142 locations, including training centers for drone operators and temporary deployment points of Ukrainian armed formations.According to the statement, Russian air defense systems also intercepted four guided aerial bombs, a HIMARS missile, and the 361 unmanned aerial vehicles.The ministry reported that Russian forces targeted Ukrainian units in multiple areas of Donetsk, resulting in the loss of over 450 Ukrainian troops, along with combat vehicles and field artillery systems.Additionally, Russia's Northern Group of forces reportedly advanced deeper into Ukrainian defenses in the Sumy and Kharkiv regions, inflicting further losses. The ministry estimated around 170 Ukrainian soldiers were killed, and several tanks, armored vehicles, field artillery, two electronic warfare stations, and six ammunition depots were destroyed.Meanwhile, Ukrainian authorities claimed earlier on Sunday that their air defense units had intercepted or neutralized 52 Russian drones across the country's north, south, east, and central regions.Since the onset of the conflict on February 24, 2022, Russia and Ukraine have regularly issued conflicting battlefield reports, with most claims remaining unverified by independent sources.

Russia says it took out 1,150 Ukrainian troops, shot down 230 drones

The Russian forces succeeded in taking out 1,150 Ukrainian troops and shooting down 230 drones of the Ukrainian air defense systems, the Russian Defense Ministry reported in a statement on Tuesday. The statement added that the Russian troops optimized their military posture and took control of critical sites along numerous axes, targeting Ukrainian Armed Forces formations engaged across 140 locations along the frontlines. These operations resulted in the neutralization of 1,150 Ukrainian troops, along with the destruction of several armored combat vehicles, artillery systems, ammunition storage sites, and electronic warfare nodes, the statement continued. Russia and Ukraine have been trading, since the outbreak of the war in February 2022, near-daily reports on advances or the repelling of mutual attacks, without the ability to verify the accuracy of each side's data.

Russia announces capture of Eastern Ukrainian town, killing of 1,020 soldiers

Russia's Defense Ministry announced on Wednesday that its forces had seized a new town in eastern Ukraine and eliminated 1,020 Ukrainian soldiers.In a statement, the ministry said units from the Russian military's "Center" group had taken control of the town of Pervomaiske in the Donetsk region.It added that Russian forces had targeted Ukrainian military units and equipment in several areas of the Donetsk and Kharkiv regions, resulting in the deaths or injuries of 1,020 soldiers and the destruction of dozens of combat vehicles, cars, artillery pieces, ammunition depots, and electronic warfare stations.The ministry added that Russian tactical and operational aviation, drone attack aircraft, and missile and artillery forces had inflicted damage on a Ukrainian military airfield, as well as drone production plants and storage depots.Since the beginning of the war, which has now entered its third year, Russia and Ukraine have exchanged daily reports claiming advances or the repelling of attacks from the other side. These reports cannot be independently verified due to the ongoing war and fighting since Feb. 24, 2022.
