President of the Republic of Turkiye Recep Tayyip Erdogan arrived in Doha on Monday to participate in the Emergency Arab-Islamic Summit.President of the Republic of Turkiye Recep Tayyip Erdogan and the accompanying delegation were welcomed upon arrival at Hamad International Airport by His Excellency Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defense Affairs Sheikh Saoud bin Abdulrahman bin Hassan Al-Thani and Ambassador of the Republic of Turkiye to the State of Qatar Dr. Mustafa Goksu.

Deputy Prime Minister for Defense Affairs of the Sultanate of Oman Shihab bin Tarik bin Taimur Al Said arrived in Doha on Monday to participate in the Emergency Arab-Islamic Summit. Crown Prince of the State of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah and the accompanying delegation were welcomed upon arrival at Hamad International Airport by His Excellency Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defense Affairs Sheikh Saoud bin Abdulrahman bin Hassan Al-Thani and Charge d'Affaires of the Embassy of the State of Kuwait to Qatar Mohammed Al Zoubi.

The Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif arrived in Doha on Monday to participate in the Emergency Arab-Islamic Summit. Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif and the accompanying delegation were welcomed upon arrival at Hamad International Airport by His Excellency Minister of Culture Sheikh Abdulrahman bin Hamad Al-Thani and Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to the State of Qatar Dr. Muhammad Ejaz.

The President of the sisterly Lebanese Republic, General Joseph Aoun arrived in Doha on Monday to take part in the Emergency Arab-Islamic Summit, scheduled to be held today. Lebanese President and the accompanying delegation were welcomed upon arrival at Hamad International Airport by His Excellency Minister of Culture Sheikh Abdulrahman bin Hamad Al-Thani and Acting Charge d'Affaires at the Embassy of the Lebanese Republic to the State of Qatar Farah Berri.

The President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Masoud Pezeshkian arrived in Doha on Monday to take part in the Emergency Arab-Islamic Summit, scheduled to be held today. President Masoud Pezeshkian and his accompanying delegation were welcomed upon arrival at Hamad International Airport by His Excellency Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defense Affairs Sheikh Saoud bin Abdulrahman bin Hassan Al-Thani and Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the State of Qatar Ali Salehabadi.

His Excellency Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani met on Monday with Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants of the Republic of Lebanon Youssef Raggi, on the sidelines of the Emergency Arab-Islamic Summit hosted by Doha on Monday. During the meeting, they discussed cooperation relations between the two countries and ways to support and enhance them, as well as developments in the region, particularly the treacherous Israeli attack that targeted Doha. HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs affirmed during the meeting that the State of Qatar will take all necessary measures to protect its security and preserve its sovereignty in the face of the blatant Israeli attack. For his part, the Lebanese Minister of Foreign Affairs reiterated his country's solidarity with the State of Qatar, describing the Israeli attack as a violation of Qatar's sovereignty and international law.

The President and the accompanying delegation were welcomed upon arrival at Hamad International Airport by His Excellency Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defense Affairs Sheikh Saoud bin Abdulrahman bin Hassan Al-Thani and Charge d'Affaires at the Embassy of the Syrian Arab Republic to the State of Qatar Dr. Bilal Tourkiya.

The Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MoCI), in collaboration with the World Intellectual Property Organisation (WIPO), has organised a two-day training workshop for members of the National Network of Technology and Innovation Support Centres (TISC) at the ministry’s headquarters in Lusail City.The workshop aimed to strengthen participants’ skills in patent research and to stress the importance of intellectual property intelligence in supporting innovation and development. It comprised specialised training sessions that were delivered by experts from the WIPO, covering topics including research strategy, access to international databases, among other areas of speciality.The workshop is part of the ministry’s efforts to reinforce the national innovation ecosystem and to build the capacity of national professionals in the fields of intellectual property.

The Preparatory Ministerial Meeting for the Emergency Arab-Islamic Summit, scheduled for Monday, convened on Sunday in Doha. The meeting was chaired by His Excellency Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani, with the participation of the Foreign Ministers of the member states of the Arab League and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC). The meeting will address a draft statement regarding the Israeli attack against the State of Qatar on Sept. 9, which targeted residential buildings in Doha housing several leaders of the Hamas movement.
