Several Palestinians were wounded Sunday by Israeli occupation fire as the occupation continued to violate the ceasefire agreement by launching further raids and shelling operations across the Gaza Strip.Medical sources reported that several Palestinians sustained injuries from a strike by an Israeli drone targeting a gathering of civilians near the Al-Shati Camp market, west of Gaza city.  Another Palestinian was wounded by an Israeli drone strike near the tents of displaced persons close to the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood market, northwest of the city.  The Israeli occupation army continued its shelling and gunfire operations, and attack helicopters opened fire east of Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip, coinciding with heavy tank fire, launched from positions east of the city, directed straight at the city center. Additionally, an Israeli drone carried out a strike near the Tabariya station in the Al-Mawasi area of the city.The Al-Mawasi area of Rafah was subjected to artillery shelling and heavy gunfire from Israeli military vehicles.  Northwestern areas of Gaza city witnessed heavy gunfire from Israeli gunboats, while Israeli vehicles and gunboats fired heavily west of Beit Lahia in the northern Strip.The death toll from the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, has risen to 74,016 killed and 175,068 injured, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health.  A ceasefire agreement between Hamas and Israel had come into effect in October 2025, however, occupation forces continue to violate it by launching further airstrikes and artillery shelling, as well as engaging in heavy gunfire across various areas of the Strip.

A Palestinian was martyred and another wounded on Sunday in an Israeli airstrike on the southern Gaza Strip.Palestinian medical sources said an Israeli drone struck a gathering of residents in Al Mawasi area of Khan Younis, killing one person and wounding another.Several Palestinians were also injured in Israeli strikes on the Sheikh Radwan neighbourhood and Al Shati refugee camp in western Gaza City earlier today.The death toll from the Israeli offensive on the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, has risen to 74,016, with 175,068 people injured, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health.A ceasefire agreement between Hamas and Israel came into effect last October, but Israeli forces have continued to violate it with further airstrikes, artillery shelling and heavy gunfire across the Gaza Strip. 

Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty discussed, during a telephone conversation with Vice President of the State of Palestine Hussein Al Sheikh, the importance of safeguarding the territorial integrity of the Gaza Strip and the West Bank and enabling the Palestinian Authority to undertake its responsibilities.In a statement Sunday, the Egyptian Foreign Ministry said the conversation centered on the grave developments in the West Bank, with Abdelatty condemning the Israeli expansion of settlement activities, rising settler violence and abusive acts in East Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa Mosque.He further contended that the settlement project in the E1 area is utterly unacceptable, as it threatens to cantonize the West Bank, encircle and isolate East Jerusalem, and further undermine efforts to establish an independent Palestinian state along the June 4, 1967, lines, with East Jerusalem as its capital.In addition, the two sides addressed ongoing efforts to complete the obligations of the first phase of US President Donald Trump's peace plan, in accordance with the roadmap, and move to the second phase.This includes ensuring the flow of humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip and enabling the National Committee for the Administration of Gaza (NCAG) to embark on carrying out its duties from within the Strip. For his part, the President of the State of Palestine lauded Egypt's supportive role in the Palestinian cause, along with the efforts it exerts to support the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people.He asserted that coordination and consultation would continue throughout the upcoming phase. 

Palestinian Prime Minister Mohammad Mustafa warned Wednesday of the relentless cataclysmic situation in the Gaza Strip and the disruption of relief operations and recovery arising from the throttles put on them by Israel.He also cautioned against shortages of medical supplies, fuel and food, and clamored once again for global action to never tolerate taking advantage of the plight of the Palestinian people as a bargaining chip in the Israeli elections.Having met with a delegation from the German Parliament, Mustafa stressed that it is important to ramp up global efforts and pressure to implement the second phase in the Gaza enclave, along with UN Security Council Resolution 2803.Recovery and reconstruction must be initiated, and all Israeli measures in the West Bank must be stopped, Mustafa underlined, noting the efforts being exerted by the government in the Gaza Strip to have whatever possible fundamental services in place for people, despite the limited potential.Mustafa suggested that the efforts of government crews in health and education should be determined, in addition to repairing water grids, removing the rubble, and carrying out other kinds of interventions.For its part, the German delegation underscored Germany's supportive position on the embodiment of the two-state solution and its constant humanitarian and relief support for the Palestinian people. 

The death toll from the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, which began on October 7, 2023, has risen to 73,384 martyrs and 174,242 wounded.The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza reported that hospitals in the Strip received two martyrs who succumbed to their injuries in the past 24 hours, in addition to six wounded.It stated that the total number of martyrs since the ceasefire on October 11 has risen to 1,257, and the number of injuries to 4,131, while the total number of bodies recovered has reached 806.Numerous victims remain under the rubble and in the streets, as ambulance and rescue teams are unable to reach them. 

Three Palestinians were martyred and several others were injured on Saturday in an Israeli drone strike that targeted a group of people in the Al-Zeitoun neighborhood, east of Gaza City, according to medical sources.A fourth Palestinian died of wounds sustained in an Israeli strike that targeted civilians at the Al-Shaabiya junction, also east of Gaza City, on Friday.Meanwhile, a Palestinian was injured after being shot by an Israeli drone at a camp for displaced people in the Al-Shuja'iya neighborhood, east of the city.The latest casualties came after a deadly day in the Gaza Strip on Friday, when 14 Palestinians were martyred, including seven in an Israeli strike that hit a funeral in the Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza.The death toll from Israel's ongoing aggression against the Gaza Strip since Oct. 7, 2023, has risen to 73,250, with 173,751 others injured. 

The Palestinian Presidency declared Sunday a three-day mourning period in the State of Palestine, starting Monday, following the passing of the late HH the Father Amir of the State of Qatar Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani.The Presidency also decided to lower flags hoisted at official headquarters and institutions to half-staff. 

The State of Palestine expressed its condemnation and rejection of the Iranian attacks targeting the sovereignty, security and stability of the State of Qatar, the Sultanate of Oman, Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain and Jordan.In a statement on Sunday, the Palestinian presidency affirmed Palestine's support and full solidarity with the targeted Arab countries in confronting the acts of aggression aimed at undermining the security, sovereignty and stability of the sisterly Arab states.It stressed Palestine's full support for the policies and measures taken by Arab states to protect their peoples, preserve their security and stability, and safeguard their sovereignty. It also renewed its call for prioritizing dialogue as the basis for resolving the region's problems, in accordance with international law. 

Palestine's envoy to the United Nations, Riyad Mansour, called on the international community to strengthen political and financial support for the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) and step up efforts to achieve a just, lasting and comprehensive solution to the Palestinian issue.Addressing the UN General Assembly's annual pledging conference for UNRWA in New York, Mansour renewed his call for a just and lasting solution to the Palestine refugee issue based on UN General Assembly Resolution 194, urging the international community to muster the political will and courage needed to end what he described as a longstanding historical injustice.He said the suffering of Palestinian refugees had reached unprecedented levels in recent years, particularly in the Occupied Palestinian Territory, amid what he described as genocide and Israel's ongoing military offensive.Mansour said UNRWA continues to play a vital role in alleviating the suffering of Palestine refugees and providing essential services despite what he described as systematic Israeli targeting of the agency, its personnel and facilities, as well as an unprecedented financial crisis threatening its operations.UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres said Palestinian refugees are facing dire humanitarian conditions, particularly in the Gaza Strip, underscoring UNRWA's indispensable role in meeting the needs of millions of Palestine refugees across its five fields of operation and supporting regional stability.He warned that the agency's financial crisis, coupled with restrictions on its operations, threatens its ability to fulfill the mandate overwhelmingly renewed by the General Assembly six months ago.Guterres said no other organization has the capacity to replace UNRWA or carry out its mandate.The UN chief called for urgent political and financial support to ensure the agency can continue its operations and enable the international community to meet its responsibilities toward Palestine refugees, saying such support would help create the conditions for a just and lasting peace based on a two-state solution. 

The Arab League, Arab Labour Organization, Arab Council for Childhood and Development, and AGFUND called for stronger protection of children in Palestine and across the Middle East, while praising the outcomes of the 2025 Global Social Development Summit in Doha.In a joint statement marking the World Day Against Child Labor on June 12, the organizations warned that ongoing conflicts, displacement, poverty, and economic hardship are increasing child labor across the Arab region.They highlighted the severe humanitarian situation facing Palestinian children, particularly in Gaza, citing deprivation of food, shelter, education, and healthcare, and called for urgent international action to protect their rights.The organizations also welcomed the Doha Political Declaration and the Marrakesh Global Framework for Action Against Child Labor, stressing that ending child labor is both a moral and development imperative.They further called for decent employment opportunities, stronger enforcement of child protection laws, and enhanced digital safety measures for children. 

A Palestinian man succumbed to his wounds on Sunday after being injured in an Israeli airstrike near the Firas market in central Gaza City.The Palestinian News Agency (WAFA), citing medical sources, reported that the man had been wounded in the attack on the area before succumbing to his injuries.The death toll from the Israeli offensive on the Gaza Strip since Oct. 7, 2023, has risen to 72,819, with 172,894 wounded.Israeli forces continue to violate the ceasefire agreement by carrying out further assassinations, artillery shelling, airstrikes, and heavy gunfire in various areas of the Gaza Strip. 

 The State of Qatar affirmed that recognition of the Nakba is an indispensable foundation for any just, comprehensive, and lasting peaceful solution to the Palestinian issue. This was stated in Qatar's statement delivered by HE Permanent Representative of the State of Qatar to the United Nations, Sheikha Alya Ahmed bin Saif Al-Thani, during the special meeting of the UN Committee on the Exercise of the Inalienable Rights of the Palestinian People, marking the 78th anniversary of the Nakba at the UN headquarters in New York. Her Excellency emphasized the importance of adopting General Assembly Resolution 79/82, noting that Qatar takes pride in being among the sponsors of this resolution, as recognition of the Nakba is essential for achieving a just, comprehensive, and lasting solution to the Palestinian issue. She reaffirmed Qatar's commitment that the names of all Palestinian child martyrs will not be forgotten, describing them as victims of a continuing Nakba, whose suffering cannot be ignored by the international community. In this context, she highlighted Qatar's consistent positions regarding the situation in the occupied Palestinian territories, renewing Qatar's condemnation of Israel's illegal decisions concerning the West Bank, including reclassifying Palestinian land as so-called "state land" of Israel, accelerating settlement activity, enacting a law allowing the death penalty in the West Bank, and restricting freedom of worship for Muslims and Christians in occupied Jerusalem. Regarding the Gaza Strip, Her Excellency stressed Qatar's insistence on full implementation of the ceasefire agreement, opening crossings to ensure sustainable and unobstructed humanitarian aid, reaffirming Qatar's firm commitment to the peace council from the first day of mediation efforts until the signing of the Sharm El Sheikh agreement with partners, and highlighting the importance of implementing UN Security Council Resolution 2803. HE the Permanent Representative reiterated Qatar's principled and steadfast support for the Palestinian cause and the resilience of the Palestinian people, based on international legitimacy and the two-state solution.She emphasized the need to guarantee Palestinian self-determination, establish an independent Palestinian state on the 1967 borders with East Jerusalem as its capital, end occupation and settlement activities, halt Israel's illegal practices in occupied territories, and ensure the right of return for Palestinian refugees in accordance with international law. Her Excellency also stressed Qatar's ongoing commitment to politically, diplomatically, and financially support UNRWA in fulfilling its mandate to serve the Palestinian people, in line with General Assembly Resolution 302 (IV).
