The Delhi police yesterday released sketches of two men suspected to have placed the briefcase bomb at the Delhi High Court. While one suspect is in his 50s, the other is in his mid-20s. “We have prepared the sketches of the accused. We spoke to several eye-witnesses and the injured,” a police officer said. Many eyewitnesses claimed they saw someone with a briefcase standing in the queue outside Gate No5, where the blast occurred. The officer also said the bombers could be among the dead or injured. Soon after the sketches were released, a news channel received a call from a fast food outlet in Connaught Place that two men with similar features were present there between 1.30pm and 2pm, and were accompanied by three others. The police are studying the CCTV footage of the outlet. The sketches have been put up at railway stations, bus depots and various markets. All police stations across the capital have been sent copies of the sketches and all entry and exit points of the city are under surveillance.
