Elephants take part in a traditional elephant fight on the occasion of the ‘Suwori’ festival as part of Rongali Bihu festival celebrations in Boko, about 70km from Guwahati, in the northeastern state of Assam yesterday. Several traditional rural sports are organised along with elephant race and elephant fight during the daylong celebration.
