A picture dated January 14 and made available this week shows a counterfeit $1mn banknote presented at the German Federal Central Bank in Frankfurt Main, Germany. In 2010, the German Federal Central Bank registered some 60,000 counterfeit banknotes marking an increase of 14% compared to 2009.
