The Doha Corniche Friday saw thousands of football fans celebrating their favourite teams, ahead of the historic FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, which kicks off in just eight days, on November 20. Fans of teams including Argentina, Brazil, England and Germany took out colourful parades which culminated at the Countdown Clock, which has become a key landmark and an integral part of the Doha skyline.
