Doha: The curtain came down on the HH The Amir Cup Shooting Championship, which was held at the Lusail Games Complex, with the wide participation of the Qatari national team shooters.
In women’s 10m pistol competition, Osama al-Shaiba won gold, Abdullah al-Obaidli won the silver medal, while Nasra Mahmoud claimed bronze. In the 10m air rifle, Shahd al-Darwish won gold, with Ahmed al-Ali taking silver medal and Rana Khaled Sharshani claiming bronze.
In 25m pistol/centre fire, Mohamed Abu Taima claimed gold, ahead of Hamad Abu Taima and Osama al-Shaiba. Taima won gold in the skeet competition too as Anisa Salem clinched silver and Mohamed Sobhi won bronze.
