As part of the World Cup buildup, every class in the school picked a country out of a hat and produced a window or garden display based on that particular country. The winning classes were selected based on originality, work created by the children themselves and displays that featured something to learn about the country.
The winners and runners-up are as follows: FS Winner: FS2 Pink Ecuador, Runner-up: FS2 Wales, KS1 Winner: 2B Germany, Runner-up: 2A Australia, KS2 Winner: 4D Switzerland, Runner-up: 6D Netherlands, Year 7 & 8 Winner: 7B, Runner-up: 8A.
The winning classes will receive a prize and the displays will go forward to a Qatar World Cup competition.
