Faisal Abdulhameed al-Mudahka, Editor-in-Chief of Gulf Times, Friday strongly condemned the offensive statements made by the German interior minister against the State of Qatar regarding the human rights situation in the country, stressing that these statements are based on false information from inciting media and indicate double standards, violating the international law in the principle of non-interference in the internal affairs of countries.
“I advise the minister to focus on the internal problems of Germany, such as immigrants, energy and many more rather than interfering in our affairs in a colonial mentality and playing the role of a white saviour which is a psychological complex which needs to be remedied.”
The German minister also needs to educate herself about the names of countries as she should have named the State of Qatar not the emirates.
