Her Highness Sheikha Moza bint Nasser, honorary chair of fashion Trust Arabia (FTA), attended the 2022 award gala Wednesday at the National Museum of Qatar.
FTA co-chairs HE Sheikha Al Mayassa bint Hamad al-Thani and Tania Fares were also in attendance, alongside a jury of fashion industry leaders and renowned international designers.

Her Highness awarded the first winner of the night, Moroccan designer Artsi Ifrach for the Evening Wear category. Other winners for the 2022 FTA Awards included Siham and Sarah Albinali (Saudi Arabia) in the Ready-To-Wear category and Fatma Mostafa (Egypt) and Sudanese designer Eliaf Osman in the Accessories category. The Debut Talent category was awarded to Kazna Asker from Yemen.

The Guest Country award, which this year was represented by Turkey, was awarded to Burc Akyol. Business woman Huda Kattan, was awarded Entrepreneur of the Year Award and the Lifetime achievement award went to Valentino Garavani, accepted on his behalf by Giancarlo Giammetti.

FTA is a non-profit initiative that aims to discover, nurture and support emerging young designers from the Arab world and provide them with financial support and mentorship to help develop their brands and boost their potential on a global scale.
