Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development Chairperson Her Highness Sheikha Moza bint Nasser attended last night the opening of the latest exhibition at the newly reopened Museum of Islamic Art, titled 'Baghdad: Eye's Delight'.



Qatar Museums Chairperson HE Sheikha Al Mayassa bint Hamad al-Thani was also in attendance. The exhibition celebrates Baghdad's outstanding heritage and highlights Iraq's capital as a political, economic and intellectual hub during a period that was one of the most innovative in world history.





The exhibition hosts a large number of exceptional items on loan from museums and international auction houses, including the Louvre and the Metropolitan Museum of Art. The exhibition is being held under the umbrella of the Qatar-Menasa 2022 Year of Culture.
