For decades, the major historical events, in which they fought for and sacrificed precious things, were distinguished marks in their identity. These events became the pillar of their characters, and their national unity. It is the source of their strength while they were defending their country, it inspired them to unite under one banner, which inspired the Qatari youth, headed by the founder Sheikh Jassim bin Mohammed bin Thani, with the dream of establishing the state.

The Qatari people, throughout their history, were able to strengthen their national unity; so there are several examples of their honesty, humility, and their ability to fulfill promises and to overcome many challenges and difficulties. The FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 is an extension of those promises that have been fulfilled by them on the ground to win civilisational challenges. This promise would not have been achieved on the ground without their attachment to their national unity, which made them proud of their affiliation to their country and loyalty to their leadership. This became a mark of the values that grandparents and fathers had infused in them to serve as a trust for future generations.
All generations still work together with solidarity and dignity towards achieving civilisation's advancement, so that Qatari people can highlight their present achievements with their hard work, values and enduring aspiration for a better future of their country, as what their ancestors did in the past. Their unity will increase their determination to work hard to achieve their goals and overcome social, cultural and economic challenges that their modern country faces in its relations with the world."
