Qatar Fuel (Woqod) celebrated on Thursday the opening of its 100th fixed petrol station, with the Bu Sidra facility.
"We celebrate an important achievement by reaching 100 fixed stations," Woqod managing director and chief executive Saad Rashid al-Muhannadi said.
The new Bu Sidra petrol station, spread over 6,400sq m, has three lanes with six dispensers for light vehicles.
Offering round-the-clock services, the facility includes a Sidra convenience store, and the sale of Shafaf LPG cylinders, in addition to the sale of gasoline and diesel products for light vehicles.
With the opening of Bu Sidra petrol station, Woqod has established a total of 116 stations, including mobile stations.
Woqod is currently overseeing the implementation of four new fuel stations, most of which are expected to be operational in the current quarter.
