Area 12, Division C, District 116, Region 11, Qatar under the aegis of Toastmaster International had their first confluence meeting recently. The novel concept promoted by Area 12 director Bhuvana Annadurai saw the participation of five clubs through a hybrid meeting. Toastmaster of the Day was Anthony Mascarenhas. The participants were from ICC One, Global Improv & Story Telling, Syrian Engineers Association, Qatar University, and TECH TM clubs. Area advisor Michael Wader presented an education module on 'Vocal Variety & Body Language', while the other advisor Khalid Hamdan insisted on consistency and practice. The other speakers presented their prepared speeches and took part in the table topics session. The feedback session had Pradeep Padat at the general evaluator.
