A group of 13 students of DPS - Modern Indian School accompanied by Sandhya Gopalakrishnan and Dr Deepika attended Qatar School Debate League-I for Girls at Sherborne Senior School and were ranked second. Team Vyusti, Karen and Sidrah bagged the fifth position and Team Avani, Leen and Sheza sixth. In the individual category, Vyusti was ranked fourth, Leen at sixth. Avani, Karen and Sidrah at 16th and Sheza at 36th position. Aliza, Saara, Jia, Arishta, Aarohi, Ziya and Nandini attended the event as observers. "Debating is an art that can be felt and understood only when you participate in it. It has to be experienced by all your senses," commented principal Asna Nafees.
