As a 2022 award honoree from Global Finance for winning the ‘Best Bank’ award earlier this year, Global Finance invited Commercial Bank, the most innovative digital bank in Qatar, to attend their World Best Banks Awards ceremony held on October 15 at The National Press Club in Washington, DC, which was held during the 2022 IMF/World Bank Annual Meetings.
Commercial Bank's high-level delegates attending the awarding ceremony were board member Mohamed Ismail Mandani al-Emadi; Group CEO Joseph Abraham; executive general manager and head (International Banking) Fahad Badar; and executive general manager and head (Investments and Strategy) Parvez Khan.
The event was hosted by Joseph D Giarraputo, publisher and editorial director of Global Finance.
Commercial Bank has been selected as the winner of the ‘Best Bank in Qatar’ award for the third time in five years by Global Finance’s editorial board based on extensive consultation with bankers, consultants and industry analysts.
