Qatar participated in the 7th meeting of ministers responsible of Islamic affairs and endowments in the Gulf Co-operation Council (GCC) countries, held through video-conferencing Thursday.
HE the Minister of Endowments (Awqaf) and Islamic Affairs Ghanem bin Shaheen al-Ghanem represented Qatar during the meeting. The meeting discussed several issues related to supporting the co-operation between the GCC countries in Islamic affairs and endowments, notably discussing the joint future vision of the ministries.

The meeting comes to consolidate the Arab-Islamic civilisational orientation in the Gulf society, through the promotion of moderate thought and the culture of religious tolerance and the promotion of the values of coexistence in light of the principles of the true Sharia and the principles of the tolerant Islamic Sharia.
