Ooredoo has announced a new augmented reality (AR) game for its loyalty members, with up to 50,000 points and partner vouchers on offer daily with Nojoom Treasure Hunt at Doha Festival City. All members need to do is register with Ooredoo Nation via the Ooredoo Nation app or at ooredoonation.com and validate their Nojoom membership, a statement said.
To activate the AR experience and collect treasures to win, loyalty members simply need to scan the QR code at the Treasure Hunt station. They can win up to 50,000 Nojoom Points and partner vouchers, which can be redeemed for a value up to QR2,000 at any of the 250 brands within the Nojoom partners’ network. The Daily Mega Prize QR code is hidden somewhere in the mall and loyalty members who visit all seven treasure stations will have a chance to win 50,000 Nojoom Points by using the clues. Members must follow the clues in the treasure stations and find Nojoom logos and FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 country flags to win. Every customer can win up to 100 Nojoom Points per station if completed successfully.
Sabah Rabiah al-Kuwari – Director PR at Ooredoo - said: “In line with our firm strategic commitment to investment in innovation and technology, we’re hugely excited for our Nojoom members to experience the potential of augmented reality with this latest contest.”
Nojoom Treasure Hunt is proving popular with Nojoom members, with some 700-plus members registering with Ooredoo Nation already, and more than 250 players taking part in the unique game at the mall.
Sabah Rabiah al-Kuwari added: “Nojoom Treasure Hunt runs until October 18; we encourage all our Nojoom members to come along and enjoy a taste of the future with augmented reality!”
