The Supervisory Committee of Beautification of Roads & Public Places has announced the completion of the 'Hayu', 'Live the Moment' and 'Welcome' murals by artist Hassan Bahou, in co-operation with Seashore Group as part of the Zeeenah Initiative of the committee to highlight the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 celebrations.
Committee deputy chairperson Sara Kafood said: "The murals aim to promote Qatar’s hosting of the FIFA World Cup 2022 by blending its heritage and culture with football to provide Qatar's guests with an image of the country's richness in art and visual scenes."
Bahou said: "Through the murals, I was able to express the feeling of pride that is found among all Arabs in hosting the FIFA World Cup 2022 on Arab land, and I was keen through them to promote the celebratory events to be held during the major football event in the region."
