Ace Qatari driver Nasser Saleh al-Attiyah climbed to overall third in the Rallye Du Maroc after fourth stage held from Laayoune to Tan Tan in Morocco yesterday. Al-Attiyah and his French navigator Mathieu Baumel driving for Toyota Gazoo Racing were third yesterday’s stage, clocking a time of 03:14:10, 2 minutes and 30 seconds behind stage winner Yazeed al-Rajhi (Overdrive Racing) in the penultimate round of the W2RC World Championship.
Guerlain Chicherit (GCK Motorsport) came second, 1 minute and 30 seconds behind Saudi’s al-Rajhi.  Frenchman Chicherit leads the general classification with a nine-minute 57 seconds lead of Orlando Terranova (Bahrain Raid Xtreme) and 28 minutes 37 seconds ahead of six-time Morocco winner al-Attiyah. Today is the final day of the rally with the drivers and riders competing in 185kms of special stages and 189km of liaison, all along the Atlantic coast.
