The Embassy of the State of Qatar in Canada and several entities associated with civil aviation industry participated in the event. The ICAO Council President Salvatore Sciacchitano, ICAO Secretary General Juan Carlos Salazar, several ministers, heads and representatives of Member States’ delegations, and several accredited ambassadors in Canada, attended the event.
In his remarks, HE al-Sulaiti welcomed the audience and thanked ICAO for the work it does to further develop air navigation and air transportation industry, thus ensuring their safety, security and growth. He also reaffirmed Qatar’s commitment to continue cooperating with the global organisation to achieve its objectives and principles.
