The Doha Forum, in partnership with The Stimson Center, launched a report entitled 'Rethinking Global Co-operation: Three New Frameworks for Collective Action in an Age of Uncertainty'. The inauguration ceremony, which was held via video conference technology, was attended by HE the Executive Director of Doha Forum, Lolwah bint Rashid AlKhater, and the President and CEO of Stimson Center Brian Finlay, in addition to a number of officials. The report details the potential challenges in the three frameworks for collective action, and ways to overcome them, and stresses that meaningful civil society participation in the preparations for the Future Summit would reassure all stakeholders that the decisions taken are well thought out, enjoy broad social support and create a sense of shared responsibility in supporting its implementation. The report serves as an important resource for the Doha Forum community, the Global Governance Innovation Network, policy makers, researchers and advocates supporting the conference preparations.
