The Institution of Engineers, Bangladesh (IEB)-Qatar Chapter celebrated the 74th Engineers Day with the theme 'Engineers for Sustainable & Green Planet' recently. Bangladesh ambassador Md Jashim Uddin, was the chief guest.
PowerPoint presentations 'Municipal Solid Water Management through Decentralised Composting Facility with Life Cycle Assessment to Mitigate Climate Change' and 'Patient Readmission Prediction for Hamad Hospital' were made by two Bangladeshi academicians. In his remarks, the envoy highlighted the role of engineers in both Bangladesh and Qatar and underscored the importance of green technology in the context of sustainable development. Bangladesh Community Qatar president and IEB-Qatar Chapter president also spoke on the occasion.
