There are two teams of orphans sponsored by QC’s Sudan and Bosnia and Herzegovina offices, along with other 26 teams from 25 countries.
The fourth SCWC is taking place at Qatar Foundation’s (QF) Education City, in co-operation with Street Child United.
The participation of QC in the SCWC comes within the framework of the ‘Sports for Development and Peace’ initiative, and as a contribution to helping children through advocacy for their rights and through a child-focused Congress and General Assembly.
Amongst the 28 teams, 10 will have refugees and internally displaced persons (IDPs).
