Qatar First Bank LLC has announced that it has obtained the required approvals from the regulatory authorities to change its name and logo.
Accordingly, the commercial registration and the articles of association of the bank were amended to reflect the bank's new name, "Lesha Bank L.L.C. " A statement issued by the bank on Sunday on the Qatar Stock Exchange website, said the bank's trade name and logo will officially be changed in the market in the next few days.
QFB's net profit increased by 2.55% in the first half of 2022, to reach QR42.047mn, compared to QR40.999mn in the same period last year.
On August 1, the Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) of QFB approved all the items on the agenda, changing the name of the bank to "Lesha Bank" and authorising the chairman of the board of directors to take all necessary actions related to the bank's new name and make any necessary adjustments to the new name, logo, trademark, domain, website, or e-mails of the bank, as well as the names of the bank's subsidiaries.
