'Global Finance' magazine has recognised Dukhan Bank as the ‘Best Consumer Digital Bank in Qatar’ in round one of the 23rd edition of the 2022 World’s Best Consumer Digital Banks Awards.
Under this category, the bank received two prestigious accolades: ‘Best Integrated Consumer Banking Site’ and ‘Most Innovative Digital Bank’.
The new accolades come to further support Dukhan Bank’s position as a pioneer in Qatar’s digital banking sector and a fitting tribute to its capabilities to be ahead of its peers in adopting emerging technologies, which are reshaping the banking industry.
Dukhan Bank was selected by a world-class panel of industry experts against criteria that included strength of strategy for attracting and servicing digital customers, success in getting clients to use digital offerings, growth of digital customers, breadth of product offerings, and evidence of tangible benefits gained from digital initiatives, and web/mobile site design and functionality.
Talal Ahmed al-Khaja, chief Marketing & Communications officer, stressed that over the last period, Dukhan Bank’s digital capabilities have provided the necessary resilience to support customers through disruptive changes in their day-to-day transactions.

Another milestone achieved in line with Dukhan Bank’s successful digital journey is ‘Rashid’, the AI-powered chatbot. An interactive, multichannel virtual assistant, Rashid, is accessible on Dukhan Mobile, the bank’s website, and WhatsApp. Powered by artificial intelligence (AI), natural language processing (NLP), and machine learning, and hosted in the cloud to cross channels, Rashid offers swift answers and fast solutions to customers’ inquiries.
Dukhan Bank’s successful digital journey has resulted in a vast expansion in the bank’s portfolio of elite digital products and services while being noticed by international evaluation entities whereas, recently, the bank received a prestigious accolade as the ‘Best Digital Bank in the MENA region’ by MEED Excellence Banking Awards 2022.
