Qatar Football Association (QFA) has revealed the details of its promotional campaign to support the Qatar national team in the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, which will be held from November 20 to December 18.
QFA said fans' activities and events will be organised in co-operation with the supporting partners as part of the campaign. The events were announced during a press conference held at Msheireb Properties Saturday in the presence of the director of the QFA Marketing and Communications Department, Khalid Mubarak al-Kuwari; head of the QFA Communications Section, Ali Hassan al-Salat; director of Marketing and Communications at Msheireb Properties Dr Hafez Ali; CEO of Al-Nahdi Group Jamal al-Nahdi; and Social Investment strategic adviser at Qatar Shell, Jaber al-Mansoor.
Al-Kuwari said the promotional campaign to support the Qatar national team has already been launched on various QFA social media platforms, noting that the second part of the campaign will begin in October with a variety of events and recreational activities for fans.



QFA will organuse events in Lusail, Msheireb and at schools, in addition to creating content on social media.
He noted that the promotional campaign to support the national team will be launched under the slogans 'For the love of Qatar' and 'Make Us Stronger with Your Cheering', explaining that the campaign has two parts: the marketing and activities aspect, and the digital media content on QFA social media platforms.
He explained that the campaign will include a number of events that will be of interest to fans, and have been specially prepared for them. Among these is the car decoration initiative, which will be organised in Lusail in co-operation with Al-Nahdi Group in November, offering discount coupons to decorate cars.



He also invited Qatari fans to decorate their homes and support the Zeenah initiative launched by the Public Works Authority (Ashghal), noting that gifts will be distributed among fans at different places in the country in October. The locations will be announced later.
Al-Kuwari also revealed that fans will be allowed to attend a scheduled training for the national team on October 2 in preparation for the World Cup, and some of the Qatari team's training will be open.
He added that the launch of the new Al Annabi jerseys was part of the promotional campaign, and the jerseys would be available soon at the designer company's stores and QFA sale outlets.
In conclusion, al-Kuwari thanked the main sponsors and partners of QFA and the supporters of Al Annabi, including various bodies, companies and institutions, especially Qatar Shell, Msheireb Properties and Al-Nahdi Group, saying: "We are now reaping through this new and unique partnership before the start of the 2022 World Cup."
For his part, Dr Ali said the coming period will witness various events organised for Qatari fans in the Company House, sponsored by Qatar Shell.
"This will be a great occasion for Qatari fans, citizens and residents alike, and visitors from all over the world to enjoy these events, which will take place in November 2022, just prior to the World Cup.
"Fans of our national team are set to experience some unique events, which are being held for the first time in co-operation with the Qatar Football Association and Qatar Shell, and we have had a lot of co-ordination and fruitful meetings in this regard, in order to reach a formula for co-operation between us."
He stressed that "this partnership is the first-of-its-kind, and we aspire to continue this co-operation with the Qatar Football Association, in appreciation of their marketing and media efforts in all the tournaments in which our national team participates, whether within or outside Qatar.
"These symbolic events will celebrate our national team, its football history and its achievements, which are now culminating in its first participation in the World Cup finals, and the organisation of the tournament by Qatar for the first time in the Middle East and the Arab region."
Al-Mansoor explained that the partnership between QFA and Qatar Shell, the main and leading sponsor of the association and the Qatari national team, provides the ideal model for what should be successful partnerships.
"Especially at the level of social responsibility, we aim to motivate large segments of the society to increase participation in various programmes, and we want to continue this close co-operation between the two parties, which has resulted in remarkable successes through many initiatives."

Al-Nahdi went on to state the several options that will be offered to fans, including decorating cars according to the conditions set by the General Directorate of Traffic. This service is available at all Al Nahdi branches, in addition to the Lusail event which will be launched on November 15.
"Fans who post stickers containing pictures of the national team players and the flag of Qatar, on their cars, will receive gift coupons," he added.
